Match Bar

This place is wicked, I booked my friends hen party here and we did the cocktail classes and it was so much fun. I would definitely recommend doing this. All the staff are so friendly which makes the place even better.

loved it. me and some friends went there during a visit to london. lovely staff made us feel welcomed. drinks were pricey but expected and we were not frowned upon when we whipped our camera out true student style to take some photos. happily go there again in fact going to drag my best friend there in march.
i have no idea where rudeness comes from and i cant wait until i go there again

Im suprised by some of the reviews on this bar. My friends and I were having a get together in which Match Bar was suggested as a meeting point to start the night. I had looked at the reviews on here so to be honest I was not sure what to expect but my friends were sure we would enjoy it. I dont know where people have got the impression of rudness from as we had an excellent time! Our waitress was great. She suggested cocktails when we were not sure which to get and the atmosphere of this place was amazing. I loved it. Such a cool and trendy spot to hang out after a girly shopping day in Oxford street! Definately would reccommend Match Bar and looking forward to our next visit.

I use the match Bar on a regular basis. I have never found staff rude, in fact quite the contrary. They are always very helpful and polite and go out of their way to find tables for me. I am surprised at someones earlier comment. Food is very good and also reasonable.

I would recommend this as somewhere to visit and do book a table for evening as it is very popular and it is difficult to find a table.

I have been to the Match Bar a couple of times, and really enjoyed the atmosphere, the cocktails, and the music, which is a mixtrure of funky house, some great sou and some old skool breaks. The food is really gorgeous and good value for money too. i was suprised on people commenting on the rudeness of the staff, as I thought that they were really nice, the manager especially. However it is worth booking in advance (2 or 3hours is OK), because the tables in the reserved area are much beter.

PRETENTIOUS AND OVERPRICED. STAFF AND MANAGEMENT RUDE, DO NOT GO THERE

Been here a couple of times now... make sure you go to the bar to get served rather than letting them come to you - they sting you with huge service charges!
