The Bok Bar is a South African themed sports bar. They have a large screen showing major sporting events including football, cricket and rugby. They also have fruit machines, pool tables and a comedian compering on a Sunday. They serve a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and regular Happy Hour promotions. Bar food is also available all day and vegetarians are catered for. They can cater for private parties of up to 50 people. This is part of the Old Monk Company.

Bok Bar, the most legendary of places. What can you say about this place? Great castle lager. South African staff who pose for photos with carrots. Superb chefs. An it box and a pool table. Locals who show you multi-thousand pound value stamp collections. This place has it all.

Great place. Castle is unbeatable, the chef will talk about football with you, the staff have accurate sporting predictions, you can buy fantastic biscuits in the shop upstairs. Sadly I have never experienced a SA rugby match in this holy grail of pubs but I can imagine that it is a most wonderful experience. Bok Bar is better than your local.

Times have changed and so has the bok bar....as has SA...
No longer the springbok bar of old, this 'new' bok bar is modern multicultural and a real hidden gem of london...
But lets not forget...when the bokke play its Saffa territory..
Fun staff, decent prices, great vibe..
even if you just pop down for a quick beer you wont forget it...

I have been to the bok bar twice now once when a previous owner had it and about a week ago now people keep telling me its great and the best pub around ! i have to disagree firstly its grubby staff mainly sit and chat to friends rather than serve customers the whole place could do with a lick of paint and some new and better positiond furniture would'nt go a miss rather than your chair being crushed up against a wall and the people well i can only say im glad i go somewhere else for a drink people are so pretentious in the bok bar its unrea. people thinking of going please take note dont bother .
