Worst place ever!

My friend held her leaving party here and is was a disasater. Here is a summary:

-When we arrived there was no sound system as agreed.
-The manager didn’t turn up to sort the lack of sound although he’d confirmed everything was in place that afternoon.
-We had to send friends across town to pick up their own kit at 9pm.
-The bar a) wasn’t stocked for cocktails as agreed and b) wasn’t accepting debit or credit cards.

Due to the no music and no access to cash for booze, the party didn’t last all that long yet my friend was still charged for not reaching the minimum spend. The manager has since ignored all calls and emails.

I hired Play bar out for my birthday two weeks ago and had an absolutely fab time!! Everything ran according to plan without any hiccups. Many thanks to Paolo - the manager, as he looked after to us all brilliantly and made sure I had a top twenty-seventh bday. Definitely recommend it!

My boyfriend hired Play for his birthday last weekend. We hired the first floor exclusively which we booked online through their website. This was free of charge, all we paid was a £200 deposit which we got back because we did a certain amount on the bar. We ordred a delicious Italian buffet which we washed down with some fabulous cocktails. We brought our own DJ's who used the bar's own soundsystem. Everybody there was really helpful and we all had a fantastic time.
