The Guinness was a bit on the warm side so head looked flat and brownish. Price was OK, but not cheapest. Staff could do with cheering up a bit even if they have to "fake it to make it" after all it is a persons night out which they are paying good money for.
This pub has fantastic potential though - I hope it fulfils it!
Area manager or above needs to do some undercover work if they want to maximise profits. Somehow I get the feeling nobody cares enough about this grand old pub - real SHAME!
The Pavilion is a pub that serves traditional English dishes including Sunday roasts. They offer a selection of real ales, beers, wines and spirits. They also have Sky TV on a large screen, a juke box and a pool table. Catering for private parties of up to 100 guests is available upon request and seating on the terrace is provided, weather permitting.
