The Guinness was a bit on the warm side so head looked flat and brownish. Price was OK, but not cheapest. Staff could do with cheering up a bit even if they have to "fake it to make it" after all it is a persons night out which they are paying good money for.
This pub has fantastic potential though - I hope it fulfils it!
Area manager or above needs to do some undercover work if they want to maximise profits. Somehow I get the feeling nobody cares enough about this grand old pub - real SHAME!

I like this pub very much. The staff are extremely friendly & welcoming.Wide variety of dishes on the menu , suitable for all tastes. Far better place than the noisy over priced eateries of the shopping mall further down the road.

I leave nearby and I really like this pub. It is large and not too busy which I like. Food is alright but I would like to have more veggie options. I will come back with my frinds.

I have to say, this has got to be one of the worst run pubs i've been in for a long time.. The food is not much to be desired! Over priced, and under sized.. It tastes like it comes from a microwave :( very disappointing considering the price!
The beer.... Does the current manager even know how to clean the lines???
The staff, very rarely smiling.. Lucky if they can understand your order, some members of staff drink on duty, while others just stand around gossiping waiting.. for the customers to serve themselves? The bad atmosphere and bad attitude behind the bar makes the drink taste just that little bit worse!
Overall , this is a great pub to vist if your looking for bad attitude, bad service and the worst beer for miles
Have your say
