Food Served

The Salt House has a bar area, restaurant and private dining space. The new menu by recently appointed Head Chef Paul Ellis (Spice Market), will change regularly and features modern European dishes that focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. Paul’s signature dishes include: goats cheese and potato cannelloni with beetroot; lamb shoulder, sweetbreads, spinach, carrot and his legendary cote de boeuf. The bar menu offers an interesting selection of cheeses and charcuterie. They have a diverse drinks selection that features anything from classic English ales to obscure American beers as well as some interesting hand crafted spirits such as Butler’s Gin and even homemade elderflower champagne.

Great pub, quite busy sometimes. If you can get a table outside in the summer you can enjoy watching the diverse range of people go by, its on the boundary of some rough areas and millionaires row. Food is good, typical gastropub stuff, some nice tables outside the restaurant area.

Love this pub, nice selection of beers and a pleasant place to sit and drink for a few hours. Outside space is great for watching life go by on the Abbey Road. There is a decent Indian and Thai place around the corner on boundary road.

Popped in here for a bottle of Prosecco with the wife the other night. Lovely atmosphere, a fairly priced bottle and a great way to spend a couple of hours.

IMO this place just has it right, feels like a pub but also quite trendy/modern and very London. Will definitely go back again.

Used to be our local and went back for a visit last weekend. Loved it then and still love it now.. feels like they have found the perfect balance between a local pub and a posher gastropub. There's the bar side, which is cosy, friendly and lively with rustic tables and interesting artwork; then there's the restaurant side serving fab food which wouldn't be out of place in a post central London restaurant.

Lovely outdoor area with heaters also adds to the attraction of this place :-)
