Given its position in the middle of a busy roundabout I wasn't expecting much of Ye Olde Swiss Cottage, but on a rainy day didnt want to search too far. We were very pleasantly surprised; food was great, service warm and drinks selection good.

My wife and I were in London 20 years ago, for our 20th anniversary and found this place. Came back this month from Arizona to celebrate our 30th w 1 son lives in Newquay with his wife, & our oldest w his girlfriend from San Francisco.

We visited on Sept 3,4,and 5th & each time was great. The food was superb, the service friendly. We ate upstairs, had pints upstairs sitting on nice comfortable couches. Our last time there was just my wife and myself late at nite, sitting outside, drinking pints.

Anyone who wants a nice pub, clean, friendly with GREAT bar food, reasonably priced, should come here. Right outside Swiss Cottage Tube station. Cheers to the owners

Went here for Sunday lunch yesterday. It wasn't very busy, probably about as busy as a pub in the middle of a roundabout should be!

The sunday roast was surprisingly good, I wasn't expecting much after seeing the chef head back to the kitchen from the bar! The beer was good, they have a few more exotic lagers rather than the standard chemical heavy gassy rubbish I usually find the need to put away 10 pints of.

There was a separate room of old blokes drinking pints of lager reading papers and no doubt talking about D-Day which was very local pub-like which I thought was good.
