Waxy O’Connors is a central London legend and there surely aren’t many who can claim to have escaped its charms. It’s big, Irish and always full, which makes it a lot of fun, a lot of the time. Live music most nights of the week, multiple bars and a tree growing through the middle of it. Strange but true.

I know it's a bit touristy, what with the tree an' all, but I think this is a great pub: loads of niches, subdued lighting, buzzy atmosphere and with great beer on tap.

I quite like this place - there are plenty of little corners with tables to get away from the heaving masses of people. I think that it's a great place to impress people from out of town aswell... "Yeah, all the pubs around here have got 40 ft trees growing through them."

A typical English Irish bar with a big tree growing through the middle of it. Nothing special.
