Vistiting the Duke of Wellington for the first time this evening I was appalled by the general attitude of the staff. One barmaid in particular seemed to be competing for "most cheerless barmaid in London " award. I hope that the (apparently absent) landlord/lady sees this review and takes the staff to task. This is no way to run a pub !

A really good decent pub tucked away from the main street. Hats off to the bar staff and the owner for being friendly and helpful, a decent selection of drinks and some pretty good pub food too. The pub also had sky and regulary shows the football, rugby and the ppv boxing which can make a great atmosphere. I recomend it, give it a go!
