Is there a better way to spend an afternoon in London than sat outside a pub on uncomfortable furniture whilst getting sun burnt?

went to this pub last week. had a nice meal (i had the fishcakes with green beans and a giant scotch egg to start) & wine - decent prices and portion size.
nice decor inside -chandeliers and flocked wallpaper, but very quiet. i believe there's a club thats open at the weekends but it wasn't open when we went.
It's kind of off the beaten track a little, but only a minute from the tube station.

Great location and a pleasant, relaxed vibe. I was recently visiting the UK from the States and spent an afternoon in Brixton. I first noticed The Prince after exiting the Tube, and came back later for a bite to eat. The Cumberland Sausage sandwich and Chips were delicious and they also had a nice Rioja on the Wine list - plus free Wireless with any purchase. The Service was a little slow, but I don't know if they were simply understaffed, or if it was my lack of understanding regarding Pub protocol (i.e. was I supposed to simply check the board and place my order at the bar?..etc.) Overall I enjoyed it and will go back on my next visit to London.
