I had a delightful time at The Princess Alice. The people were lovely, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Good music and good drinks. The standard has gone up a few notches since the new management came in a few months ago, all in all, a very great night out!

I recently went to the Princess Alice for lunch and found that the pub is currently under new management and has changed dramatically. It has had a spring clean and is very tidy. It is no longer a ‘blokey’ pub but is frequented by both men and women seems to be very popular. There is a good menu selection which includes favourites such as pie and mash which was very nice. They offer a good selection of wines, spirits and beers. The pub is moving with the times and even has its own website (theprincessalice.co.uk). When I went back during the evening the place was really busy. The pub had a warm and friendly atmosphere and I had a great night out.
