With a convnial atmosphere which makes you instantly feel like you’re on first name terms with the bar staff it welcomes you in like a long lost friend. Traditional features are mischievously placed alongside 80’s throw back prints featuring Barbie and My little Pony while a local signature wall and hastily written up chalk boards complete with Guardian style spelling mistakes add a nice personal vibe. The drinks choice is imaginative and eclectic but it is the food menu which impresses the most. Handmade burgers moist and seasoned to perfection are served up with tipple cooked chips and the home made fish pie is better than your Gran’s.
