The Terry Tucker Challenge at this traditional pub has a gentle eating contest with a choice of Shepherd’s pie or lasagne to be eaten within 20 minutes. More advanced eaters can order the beef, bacon and cheeseburger with chips and onion rings where all the ingredients trebled. The meal is free if you eat it all in the allotted time.

My wife and I recently visited London. We had lunch at the Pride of Paddington on a weekday. The food was good, but the owner and staff were very arrogant and rude. There was virtually no one else in the bar, yet they still managed to treat us like they were doing us a favor by letting us eat there. The owner went out of his way to make us feel like stupid tourists. We will return to London, but not to the Pariah of Paddington.

The best pub in this area!!! Good eat (try BBQ Ribs and Chiefburger) and drink a guinness or a NBA

My bag was stolen in this bar, so naturally I don't recommend it at all. The owner or manager (I think he was) wasn't very helpful.
Otherwise the staff wasn't nice at all!!
