PINTS, PIZZAS AND POP-UPS: THE MARQUIS OF WELLINGTON HAS ARRIVED!
The first ever British Street Food pub takeover has landed – welcome to the Marquis of Wellington. Sitting centre-stage on the famous Bermondsey Beer Mile, the pub is back from a two-year hiatus with an urban-cool new look, pizzas cooked to perfection and an incredible collection of beers.
Step out from the shadow of The Shard and slip away from The Thames to find the Marquis of Wellington. You can’t miss the namesake’s statement lettering across the brick frontage, illuminated by upturned spotlights when the sun goes down – it’s the star of the Bermondsey show. Come inside to discover statement scrap metals revived and repurposed into wall art features, sitting alongside vintage school chairs, copper piping and exposed original brickwork.
Work your way round to the patio and take your pick from weathered wooden benches or gather around the blazing fire pit. The hand-painted graffiti walls, in vibrant shades of blue and purple, make for the ideal foodie snap.
FOOD TRUCKS & PERFECT PIZZAS
