Having moved into the area 6 months ago, my partner and I were delighted to stumble upon this small and charming pub. The Thai food is cheap and tasty and the drinks are reasonably priced for London. Always two ales plus Hoegaarden, some lagers and a good selection of wine are available.
The reason we return each week is the friendly atmosphere and great service. The quiz night on Monday is great, as is the poker on Tuesday. Some take these more serious than others, but it's always great fun. The beer garden is quite large and stylish, we can't wait for summer to roll round again so we can chill in this relaxed space.
The previous reviewer obviously can't tell the difference between abuse and friendly banter, maybe they need to get out more...
The Old Parrs Head is a traditional pub that serves a selection of beers, wines, sprits and soft drinks. There is a restaurant in the bar, which serves a range of Thai meals, including vegetarian. There is also a juke box and a TV in the bar as well as seating in the garden outside.
