I visited here last night and was a bit disappointed to be honest. The staff were friendly and the food looked great, but the range of beers was very disappointing and I'd dispute that the lagers were well kept - the Heineken and Kronenbourg I tried were very flat and a bit stale - just not fresh beer.

I didn't try the ales and perhaps should have, but not a good sign that I had to switch to bottled Budvar.

It would be good to freshen the range of beers up - very standard fare.

A really good local. Great bar staff & management. Nice atmosphere, family friendly until 7pm, plenty of TV screens for sport, good selection of beers & wines, plenty of quiet corners.
The food is good, however they have recently dropped their Kids Menu which was one of the best I have come across. They will still do smaller portions though for about a fiver. Traditional pub menu but cooked to a high standard with care & some nice touches. Small outside terrace. Not really a Gastro pub but I generally prefer to eat restaurant standard dishes in restaurant standard surroundings - this is a pub & it does all things puby very well! Well worth a visit.

Smart pub that looks like a proper pub and tastes as good too, always tops beer & food, freindly dog, great atmosphere and cheery staff.

Big TV's but not obtrusive, loads of quiz nights and fun promotions.

Just go there!
