We've been visiting this pub for a few years now, not frequently but regularly, after running events in Hyde Park. The surliness of the staff, general disorganisation, and grubbiness we used to find almost endearing. But after yesterday's visit, we will never return again. A party of about a dozen of us were constantly served the wrong drinks, told food would be a 40 minute wait and waited over an hour, some of us were told we couldn't order food at all as they were too busy, though it didn't seem to stop them taking orders for people who'd arrived later than us. Any enquiry was handled with a lack of grace that suggested the staff would be doing us a huge favour to provide the bare minimum of what we'd asked for. When our food did finally arrive, over a period of about 30 minutes (half of it being delivered to a completely different table who'd also been waiting so long they took it anyway) some of it was cold. The final straw was our request for 4 pints of cider - the barmaid poured 4 pints of lager and on being requested to change it refused utterly, saying we'd have to pay again, as it was apparently our fault for not having watched closely while she was pouring it. I cannot recommend this pub to anyone.

Just got back from London yesterday and I couldn't wait to write this review. This pub was just a few blocks away from the hotel so I tried it.
This pub's staff were horrible. The blonde girl behind the counter had a less than friendly attitude and the guy actually tried to talk us into leaving! Walked out within minutes of entering, not even willling to try a pint after that those attitudes.
STAY AWAY!
