I eat here most weeks, once per week, on my way home westwards. I have had nearly everything on the menu, some more than once!
The beer is good, the ambiance is good, the time it takes for a food order to arrive is very good.
I recommend all the food. I haven't had a bad meal there. However, the garlic bread thst comes with the lasagne is very garlicky. Beware of having stinky breath if you're about to go on a long journey!
Personal favourites are the lamb curry, the pies and the ham, egg and chips.
The Mad Bishop & Bear is a pub that serves traditional English dishes all day. It is located in Paddington Station, therefore most of their clients are people travelling on trains. They can cater for private parties of up to 50 people.
