The Falcon is a pub that serves a variety of beers, wines and spirits as well as a selection of Thai dishes. They also provide seating in the garden area and hold Thai barbecues at the weekends in the warmer months, weather permitting.

This place is a good place to go for a pint and be able to talk to your friends, instead of yelling over the music like most of the other offerings in Clapham.

On a sunny day you're guaranteed the smell of a barbecue cooking in the back outdoor area, and fun until the small hours.

The choices in beer and other drinks is great, and service seems to be getting better, but definitely not 5 (or 4) star service.

The thing that REALLY lets them down is the food. I ordered a bowl of wedges, and being a pub I expected a loaded bowl (like the other pubs I've been to). I got SEVEN wedges, drizzed in salsa and sour cream. I thought the waitress had helped herself to a couple on the way to the table. £3.50 for SEVEN wedges seems to be a little bit extortionate!!

The pub could really take off, but the price (and quantity) of food has tarnished it's rep. Next time I'll buy potatoes, make my own wedges (for under £1) and drink at home with my friends instead.

The Falcon has changed a bit from the last review, it now no longer served Thai food but has a Tapas style food offer with a standard bar menu plus a great bbq area and beach bar at the rear. The burgers are made fron fresh ground steak daily and taste delicious. Open until 1am fri/sat with external seating for us smokers out the front. Pleasant bar staff (which is a change in london) and a nice safe feel about it. Well worth a visit as it was the first time i had been there, I was a bit apprehensive at first because I am not a great lover of Thai food but ended up enjoying some of the Tapas

Great beer garden (If you go to the one out the back it's away from the traffic). The Thai-style food is also worth trying. All in all a friendly and unpretentious pub with loads of room.
