It could be a really good place and needs to get its act together if the other local drinking spots don't take over. It needs a complete overhaul in every direction if it isn't to close very soon which I hope it doesn't.

Called in yesterday after the Eng v NZ Rugby League International at the Olympic Stadium. Had some great banter with the locals and the gorgeous June behind the pumps. Made very welcome, so much so called back in at midnight on the way back to the hotel. Live music was on, the locals were dancing, looks like every Saturday night is Party night. Landlord Tony was a charmer, look forward to going back some time soon.

Call in, and don't forget..... tip your Bartender!

Just passing and saw a sign that read burger night"
Music to my stomach.
And all i can say' this was one of the best burgers I've had in london and the prices start at 6.50 and come with chips not fries and included in the price, the word is that the burger menu and food kicks off this friday

Nice local pub that has a surprisingly excellent chef (that you would never expect in a local like this), excellent food, a very cheeky barmaid (she is the Pearly Queen of Tower Hamlets - so can almost be forgiven).

Friendly locals - authentic East End pub!

Also has an hilarious karaoke night with a very funny (and rude) drag queen! (Weds I think).

Quite a gem really!
Have your say
