The Long Acre

a fantastic pub with superb food & staff - our first time in longacre loved it

Looks nice but sadly doesn't sell any real beer. So OK if you only want wine or chemical lagers but otherwise steer well clear. Shame

What a difference since changed from whatever it was called to The LongAcre... I love the bar platters! Yummy! Perfect for Saturdays after shopping at Covent Garden. Great atmosphere for a drink after work too. Well done for the great improvement!

I went to Bar 38 at Longacre May 2005 with friends, as I stood up to leave someone stole my handbag. Bad enough, but when I went to the manager, Didier, in tears and asked him to help and call the police, he simply said "No, you call them, I am not going to call them, you call them from your phone" (which had just been stolen). Realising he was French, and actually being fluent in French myself, I told him what I thought of him, rubbish service, rubbish attitude, could'nt care less about customers. Having said that, the English guy at the bar was lovely, even lent me his personal mobile to call the police.
I wont be going back.
