Adding extra shine to Ealing Broadway is newly refurbished pub The North Star. Boasting a sparkling new interior, glitzy side garden and glossy menu of US diner classics and drinks, it‚s no wonder locals are following the light to The North Star.

It takes a bit of character to stand out from the many pubs, bars and restaurants Ealing residents are lucky enough to enjoy - thankfully the North Star has it in spades. Gunmetal grey walls andexposed brick lend industrial cool, whilst neon signs and mismatched chandeliers create that all important light. Hang out with friends on high tables, nab the curved banquette and settle in for the night or spend a lazy Sunday on the well-worn leather sofas. For those wanting to savour the last of the summer (or those that are brave!), The North Star‚s side garden is a great alfresco option. Part covered and heated all year Œround, pull up a bench and breathe and enjoy the great outdoors whatever the weather.
Keeping the balance of on-trend tipples and all-time classics, The North Star has a drinks list that ticks every thirst box. Beer is big and includes much-loved seasonal rotating craft brews such as Lagunitas IPA, Brooklyn Pennant Ale, Adnams Mosaic Pale Ale and Meantime Californian Pale Ale, as well as house ales including Windsor & Eton Knight of the Garter and regular guest ales. There‚s also an extensive selection of world-class wines, artisan spirits and house made concoctions including spice-your-own Bloody Marys.

Inspired from diners across the Atlantic ŒSnack & Share‚ dishes including Nachos Grande with homemade chilli, Smoked Wings in 4‚s (£5.25), 6‚s (£7.75), 8‚s (£10). Or kick off with Sliders such as Beef, Chorizo & Emmental and Hippy & Houmous.
At The North Star it‚s all about the burgers with thirteen mighty meaty creations to choose from including Pulled Pork & Smoked Chipotle Jam, Chicken Avocado & Bacon and Fried Egg & Peanut Butter. Go off piste with your patty and play around with 28 toppings and eight sauces for the ultimate in burger bespoke. And make sure you tune in on Tuesdays when there‚s 241 on all burgers, all day.

Not bothered about the meat n‚ bun sitch? Feast on finger lickin‚ Fried Chicken or dive into Ruby Jean‚s Fish & Chips made with sustainable hake. In for lunch? Daily Bread sandwiches such as NY Deli Sandwich with pastrami, sauerkraut, emmental & thousand island dressing - served with double-cooked chips are served until 5pm.

If you like a lotta chocolate on your biscuit, you‚ll love the desserts - with every dish more cocoa-covered than the last. And anyone nostalgic for a taste of Britain can settle down on Sundayfrom 12pm - 10pm for ‚Roasts To Shame Your Mother.
