The Patch is iconic in Twickenham. It promotes itself as a Rugby tavern and really is quite successful. The food here is quite competitively priced and seems reasonable. The Patch burger is a legend, and many of their signature dishes are really good. The gastro Pub style menu is diverse and rich in quality ingredients. The restaurant area is a good size with some very chunky wooden tables and chairs to keep up with the bold and hearty image. The only issue with this pub is the smell! yes the smell.....The smell of urinal bleach blocks permeates around the room and fills the nasal passages with an aroma that envelopes the senses. For many it off putting, for me...I kind of got used to it and decided to move to the furthest point away from the toilets nearer the smoking area...Overall: A good pub with good food. You pay for what you get here.
