Pride Of Pimlico

Me+Mrs were glad to find this hidden gem in Pimlico.Good prices,friendly barman + locals.
Old school London boozer.

I visited the pride of pimlico twice and both times loved the atmosphere and character of the place. I would definitely recommend it for a Saturday night out

The Pride of Pimlico was clearly named by someone with a sense of humour or irony, or more probably both.
Stand and look at the curtains at the windows from the outside and it says everything you need to know about what it's like inside; they are filthy & stained and don't look like they've been washed in years. This pub clearly isn't the pride of the landlord.
It's a neglected corner of the street pub rubbing-along on revenue generated by a small clique of locals when, given a good wash, wipe-down & TLC, it could be a thriving business with lots of passing trade.
Pride of Pimlico? No, it's grim. Walk past, there are better pubs 100m up the road in either direction.

i like this pub,
ive been there twice over the last week and must say the crowd is tops. I like to be surrounded by them senior regulars and mind my own business with my pint and a paper, or watch a game of footy on the screen. I cant say that I felt unsafe, havent seen any druggies and those two or three kids you will see in any other place too.

As a regular customer of The Pride for the last ten years I must take exception to the previous comments. The Pride is one of the friendliest pubs in Pimlico. The majority of regulars are Irish, so they are very gregorious. As Pimlico has a lot of hotels there are usually a lot of tourists of all nationalities who come into the Pride and they are always made welcome. The comments about under age drinkers and drug takers are also well off the mark. At holiday times and other occasions (e.g. St. Patricks Day) the landlord puts on a sumptious free spread.

Totally agree with the other gentlemans review. I was dicusted with the people this pub let in. Half of them did not look old enough to drink anyway! Definitely AVOID!!!!

If you like spending your evening being surrounded by drug dealers plying their trade then this is the place for you. Avoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!
