The comments made by Grant are spot on, regarding this legend of a local pub. Been drinking in the 'Kings' for a number of years and the redeeming feature is that it is traditional London pub and not some commercial plastic watering hole selling cocktails and microwaved meals.
Dirty glasses, bad beer and dodgy toilets?...err don't think so, and quite the opposite Jimmy.

Dear Jimmy I’m sorry to hear that you find our beloved local the Kings so disgusting, the many features you list to be non-redeeming are the very reasons why we and many others love it so. To find a non-chain or franchised pub in the centre of London, smack bang W1, is in my humble opinion very refreshing in this brand for brand corporate world that we work and live in. I can’t say that I’ve noticed the Mold (Or Mould as you misspell it) in washroom, but then I’m not normally one that spends an awful lot of time frequenting in the Gents so perhaps you are better placed to review this topic, h

This pub us disgusting. The carpets are filthy, the bar staff couldn't give a toss, the men's toilets are covered in mould, the lager tastes old and the glasses are dirty. This place needs to be closed down and hosed down. There is nothing whatsoever redeeming about this pub.
