The Eagle Real Ale House & Tavern is probably the best find in South London. From watching rugby in the large beer garden (under a marquee) to the brilliant pub quiz on a Sunday night. The staff are friendly and they run the pub because they love it, nearly as much as they love real ale (never old or through un-clean pipes). Not bothering with any gastro food (apart from a barbie on summer rugby days) and staying true to its routes this pub will hopefully last longer than most. Grant.

The Eagle is the best pub in the whole wide world. Great beers, lovely staff, best parties, wonderful regular customers, big screen to watch footy or rugby, every time i drink there it feels like home. Love that pub. Jadra

Bloody good place - a refreshing selection of beers and locals, great sofas, makes rugby a priority on TV, fires and dogs and books and games and a very homely ambience.

All in all tasty noodles, and the barmaid isn't half bad! - maes other pubs surplus to requirements.
