We like riding our bikes and drinking coffee. We had an idea about combining stuff we like to make something special. We found a great space in a great location, cleaned it up and called it 'look mum no hands!' We show films and cycle sport on our big projector screen. We have a workshop and two great mechanics who fix bikes. We have people who are really into making good food and coffee. We sell BEER!

All In London Review
The new venue continues to inspire the blend between cycling, beer, food and good times.
Located on Mare Street, the new venue follows the same blueprint as the Clerkenwell Road branch. There is a big screen that shows live cycling events, a workshop is on its way, there is good food, great coffee and – as with the Clerkenwell branch – some of the best millionaire shortcake in London. Once again you can feel the community spirit of the place, as cycling fans of all levels gather in a place that appreciates the relationship between the sport and the spoils of good food, coffee and beer. This end of Mare Street is rapidly becoming a new nightlife hub with various breweries resident in the railway arches next door, the bars of Netil House nearby and the E5 bakery event space just up the road.
Behind the counter here you’ll find a good selection of bottled Belgian beers, soups, salads, gourmet sausage rolls and scotch eggs. No doubt the venue will also soon be stocking its colourful caps, shorts, jerseys and crockery. Food, beer and clothes sorted. Bikes next?

London's best cafes for Cycling enthusiasts
Get on your bike to one of these cafes!
Say the words “cycle café” to someone who last used a bike in year 6, and they’ll still have heard of Look Mum No Hands!, partly thanks to the eye-catching logo on its Old Street and Mare Street stores. As well as solving all manner of pesky problems, they run courses so you can learn the basics of bicycle repair yourself. And then of course there’s the café, serving all day breakfasts, coffee and craft beer.

Great to finally have somewhere to watch bike racing in East London. The prices are slightly high in Look Mum No Hands but I can stomach that small issue since the atmosphere is always so good for cycling fans. Good beers too!
