E1 PENNINGTON STREET STUDIO opened September 2012, located only a few minutes walk from Shadwell stations and two stops on the Overground from Shoreditch. This former 6200 sqft nightclub has been transformed into a state of the art photographic and event space. There are two studios: The Black Studio at 2600 sqft, which boasts a 26ft white infinity cove and 15 foot ceiling, is one of the few all black, blackout studios in London. The White Studio at 1500 sqft, has beautiful daylight, opening out onto a cobbled street, offering great opportunities for location shooting. For extra comfort and space, the lounge area is finished to a luxurious standard with a high-spec kitchen where the in-house catering chefs work their magic.

The studios are equipped with full styling, make up and hair facilities, including a shower, and a fully functioning kitchen. All lighting, equipment and digital is available in-house in addition to our full post-production services remaining at our Shoreditch base.
