Went to Skye bar for a night out and had a great time. Strict security which is always necessary and classy inside. For big events 2nd floor should be open as it gets extremely packed which can hinder you to dance and move about as you'd like. Otherwise would definately go again. In fact heard Sat 26th March '16 is gonna be LIT!!!

I went to Skye Bar for my sister's 40th birthday celebration last Saturday.
She had booked an area for 60 people and put us all in the guest list for a smooth entrance.
She arrived before 11 with a handful of people and managed to get in. For the rest of the guests, including me and her closest family, it was impossible to get inside.
We queued for 2 hours (next to the Halal shop smelling all the raw meat and fish), only for the venue to inform that no more people were allowed inside.
She keep on asking the events manager to let us in, and he kept on lying to her, telling her that in 10
