This place needs to be closed down. How they were granted a licence to operate in the way that they do is beyond belief, especially with a 2/5 hygiene rating!
This place is a small restaurant on a residential street, however on Friday and Saturday nights, it seems to turn into a nightclub (including during lockdown). They play loud music until 2am in the morning, surrounded by flats and houses. At kicking out time, there's regularly fights on the street and the police have to turn up to disperse the crowd. Somebody was arrested a couple of weeks ago. Every morning, bottles and alcohol cans litter the street.
What's worse is in the last few months, a taxi firm seems to have set up a business at the restaurant. Every day, groups of people park their cars on either side of the road, blocking it off to people trying to get through. This results in road rage and people honking their horns, throughout the day, including in the early hours of the morning. A large group of men also congregate outside, drinking alcohol, shouting, screaming and being very anti-social. It makes the location scary to pass by.
Despite numerous complaints from residents, nothing has been done to stop the above. The restaurant and it's activities have been reported to the police, council and the local MP, yet it still continues to operate. They've not even been over to monitor the situation, even though it's clearly been in breach of lockdown measures.
This place makes Arnside Street and Horsley Street, a living hell.
