Yes, so I had already three negative experiences with this branch, but yesterday was enough. The costumer service is just awful. (maybe exceptions). Last time I had an appointment with a specific person, who just passed me on the road 3 minutes before my appointment, heading to have lunch in the Westfield. He recognized me, but just turned his head. When he came back, did not even apologize, but said it is my fault, because tried to call me, but I did not pick up. My battery was exhausted...that should not be his concern so far.

Yesterday I was advised to visit the nearest branch to request a new card produced on the spot, because I have not received the previously issued. The assistant told me to wait and someone will help me. 40 minutes later he came back and explained me that they cant help me at all, the only thing he can do is to "apologize". I did not have a sleep the night before, so I was exhausted to being upset, but yes, truly disappointing how unorganized

I had problems in my account and card and went to the barclays shepherd's bush to solve it. There I found THE MOST WONDERFUL ATTENTION by one girl who give me total time to explain me all the things what is happened with my account and card, sometimes I didn't understand and she had the patience to explain me again. If I can left one vote to her is number 10... she is so professional in all senses... congrats to her...

I only signed up for this service to give a review on this bank after today's visit. I never normally leave reviews but this one was begging for it.

What is wrong with this branch??!!??

The worst service I've seen so far. Very intrusive too.

English language not being the first language... I can understand that as I am a foreigner myself, but not to this point!! (At least make an effort to learn English when you come to this country, common sense,right? Not for everyone I guess.)

Seemed like for some people working there English was not a priority to learn at school. I've heard better English from some of those who work at a chicken shop.

I am a premier customer and when I tried to queue to the service for the "Business & Premier customer" (one cashier ONLY!!), I saw everybody else being served much faster. I was 3rd in a queue and after 25 minutes being stil 2nd in line I just gave up!!

The service was appalling!!!

How can these people work in a bank??!!??!

I thought it should be much harder to get a job there... They look like they are forced to be there... That's just not right :/

I'm considering switching my bank to their competitor just because of the service.

Couldn't agreee more with review #1. I live just down the road from this branch and prefer to PAY to get the bus to another such as Hammersmith or Ladbroke Grove due the bad service of the Shepherd's Bush Barclay's.

As one fellow traveller reports on another review site: "This sorry excuse for a bank is fast becoming the local joke - it's almost as though Barclay's has collected their worst staff ever committed to their training programme and dumped them on Shepherd's Bush Green...The only thing guaranteed in this branch of Barclays is an argument and a bad mood for the day."

Just came from Barclays, shepherds bush branch!! Not impress with the service..
Went there to cancel a standing order something that sounds quite easy to do, well not really, especially if English is not your mother language! I am a restaurant manager so my English can’t be that bad, right?!!
The lady that was suppose to help me wasn’t at all paying attention to what I was saying and then when I finally got upset I told her that she wasn’t helping she told me that I wasn’t explaining myself properly this out loud so all the other costumers could see how stupid I am!!! She didn’t want to be there in the first place, why are these people doing these types of jobs?!?She didn’t have a clue about costumer service!
