Both Harrow Town Centre and Kingsbury branches are extremely appauling. I am a business and personal customer of Natwest, and EVERY TIME I go into the branch, I get very poor service. The business manager at Harrow is completely incompentent, as he can't even follow the simplest of instructions. Secondly, there is one staff in particular at the Kingsbury branch, who will ask you the same question every time you go into the branch. Surely, they should be treating you as an individual customer, now if you go there every week and are asked the same question and you provide the same answer, surely anyone with half a brain would not keep on asking the same question, LIKE A DAMN PARROT!!!!

Furthermore, Natwest now have posters stating whether they have lived up to their "Customer Charter". To be frank, I was still wondering when they were going to implement this, as apprently, you should be served within 5 minutes, but at both branches it takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

"HELPFUL BANKING" I DONT THINK SO!!!!!!!

I have totally lost faith in Natwest due to this branch, but since I do not visit any other branches I must assume that all branches nationwide offer equally poor service. To make matters even more frustrating there are Natwest posters all around Harrow extolling their customer service policy - These have only appeared since the credit crunch - because they need your cash, and offer no basis of truth since I can inform readers from a decades worth of experience that Natwest treats customers like crap - And that is the reason I have moved 99.5% of my cash out of Natwest and only have an account with them due to historical reasons, and presumably because I am a masochist!

I just recently did some banking at harrow town centre branch and found the staff very cheerful and when i arrived in the banking hall i was greeted and again at the till. They acted extremly professional despite a queue. You are asked if you want to use the other machines to do your banking to avoid queues. As i am of the older generation the machines are a bit difficult for me so at least you are given the option not to queue . well done

The overall service provided by this Branch is definitely wanting. Both management and staff appear to be totally indifferent to customer needs or service. Even at peak times of the day and considering it is a busy Branch tills, of which there are only six, are regularly unmanned and there is no apparent concern to expedite customer business in an effective and/or speedy manner. It is possible to spend almost the whole of one's lunch-time queuing to be served: a level of retail service that would not be accepted in any other business. Moreover, the standard greeting on eventually arriving at the till is 'sorry to have kept you waiting'. Unfortunately, since this is regular occurrence, it doesn't ring true. It is merely a meaningless expression and will remain so until some form of action is taken to address the situation. Overall it presents the facade of a social drop-in centre rather than a place of business.
