Customer for several years, controllers and drivers always very helpful and polite
Airport drop and pick up even if return flight delayed they are always there to help and greet you with a smile

Had a nice gentleman this morning , car was nice n clean . Had a good chat on the way to Gatwick, will use Rye cars definitely again. Thank you driver . Reg LL69HWV

First class service in all respects at a reasonable cost. Booked car from New Cross Gate to Heathrow. Driver was punctual, very helpful and cheerful.

Booked for a v early morning flight - the driver was punctual, professional and price competitive. Will definitely be using again.

Unreliable. Confirmed booking after online booking only to be told 5 minutes before pickup time that driver will be 20 minutes late…driver didn’t show so called again and was told driver is no longer available! This was for a flight… had to sort last minute Uber.

So unreliable.
Do not book for important occasions or for anything if you don’t want ti be concerned about cancellations

DO NOT USE. I have used Rye Cars twice previously and had no issues, this lead to me mistakenly recommending them to a friend. They had the usual process, called ahead, booked it in and PAID IN ADVANCE for an early morning taxi for a work trip today (international flight). I find out this morning that they didn't show up this morning and didn't let the client know!! She had to call at 5.30am when the taxi didn't arrive only to be told that they didn't have one available to send. They then ignored her follow up calls when she was trying to manage the situation and didn't apologise for the chaos caused. 100% do not use as they can't be relied on.

Cab driver wore no mask and no windows open when I got in the car, I had to ask if I could open the window, it should have been open in the first place.
I am in vulnerable group and I did not feel protected from the virus, I will never use again and unprofessional conduct of driver, but not surprising with London mini cabs.

Have been using Rye cars for years as prices are competitive. But service has gone down hill; I have been picked up late on many occasions, very early bookings have been cancelled minutes from pick up, phone staff is aggressive and belligerent. On + side: Manager has always been helpful to try and resolve/ take responsivility and taxi drivers are almost always very polite and try their best.
Cannot recommend for early or late pick ups as too unreliable and now reluctant to use for me or my family.
