G M Deery

I have known and used Gerry at GM Deery for many years now and always recommend them to friends. They are reliable, honest and quick with their work. It is great to have a local garage that you know you can rely on - always prefer local garages now to main dealers who are simply expensive and looking for extra work at every turn. No hesitation in saying they are worth talking to -whatever car you may have.

I had a problem with my car and went to a local garage for advice and was told it would cost me over £1000 to have the problem fixed. This being more than I could afford and not knowing anything about cars I asked a friend if he could recommend a decent garage that wouldn't rip me off. He has used G M Deery for a number of years and has always been very satified with their polite and helpful service. The service I received was also very polite and helpful and I have now recommended them to all my friends. The work that the other garage said would cost over £1000 cost me only £176.50. They kept the old parts they replaced to show me when I collected the car. I was very impressed with their honesty.
I'll definitely be using this garage again.

I am sad to say I feel I was ripped off by this Garage and work was not carried out as promised. When I went back to get the problems fixed, I was told, "I didn't know what I was doing, I wasn't a mechanic" etc Essentially fobbed off.

Work that was quoted at £120 from other garages was charged at five times this amount by this dreadful garage. Until you pay, they won't give you your car back. If you complain "you don't know nuffin" etc etc.


Can't say I would recommend their them!
