Brittanic Auto Transmissions

I had a problem with a semiauto gear box of my ford fiesta car. I'm not a technical person so bit worried. The garage where I normally go referred to Nick's garage. I had my car fixed quickly which as a customer is a very positive outcome also shows his competency. My impression is Nick and his team know their job inside out. I very much recommend them.

Took my car here to be diagnosed as my Golf DSG gearbox showing a fault on the system (Flashing spanner). I paid £72 for DSG specialist dsg diagnostics.

I left it with them for an hour , it was put on a ramp , oil was checked , and then Nick come out and said your car has lost its drive, the mechatronic unit is faulty, demanded £900-1200 for either repair or reconditioned mechatronics.

really upset and angry because they got me in a trap, paid for the repair of mechatronic under protest £900, I did not expect the car to lose its drive when doing the diagnostics.

Nick happily took my money 100% conned me for my hard earned money, NEVER WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO Brittanic Auto Transmission!!!!!!!!

they see private customers as cash cows- they do a lot of work through 3rd parties and warranties.

I then consulted other DSG garages they confirmed whilst performing the diagnostics it should never lose drive

If you want a garage you can trust, go to Brittanic Auto Transmissions. I have taken my cars their for years and would not go anywhere else. The are always helpful, willing to give advice, and reasonably priced. You hear so many horror stories about about garages but if you go to see Sam and Nick at Brittanic, I don't think you will ever go anywhere else.

Sam and Nick know what they doing for sure. Because of these guys I saved money and time

I've taken my Ford Focus to Brittanic for a few years now. I first went there for my gearbox, but have continued to have it serviced and Motd there over the years. The standard of work is high. Equally high is their treatment of customers - they took the time to talk to me, tell me about the car, and the work it needed. To top it off they even made me a cup of tea. As for price, they're reasonable.
