Majestic Service Centre

What an absolutely horrendous experience dealing with this bunch of shysters. What should have been a one day clutch replacement has become a week long ordeal.
Firstly a part broke (clutch release fork) which couldn’t be sourced (it happens). We then get told the car will be ready 4 days late. Then on the day we were due to pick the car up we’re told the part wasn’t available. 3 days later we get told to collect the car at 6pm. We turn up to find the car nowhere near ready. Go home empty handed. We then come back the next day and get told the price of the job has increased from the quoted £250 to £370!!! An extra £120 for a part which can be bought online for £20. Even from a main dealer it’s only £60. Majestic wouldn’t tell us how much he’d paid for the part. Even when we proved how much the part cost he then insisted he had to make something on it to cover his costs and petrol, picking the part up. Unbelievable. Eventually he showed us his invoice for the part (£66) Then had the nerve to say we made him feel dishonest and he’d have to go home and have a shower. What a joke of a man. Eventually he said we could take the car if we paid £90 for the £60 part. We agreed just to get away and take our car. Is this bribery?
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. IT WILL COST YOU MORE THAN YOU EXPECT. A LOT MORE.

They called me and looked at the car as they are one of Rac suggested garages.
They gave me a price for labour and parts. I said I would get my own parts . So they gave me the quotation for labour and 1 part. Then they kept the car in for 2 days a d called me saying that they needed the rearside not the front arm. I went there a d changed it and then only to get told they need the front arm too. I didn't ask for it. They suggested it. Then the shock was ordered to what they said and then I was told its the wrong one and another one ordered . I then went back to pick the car and at no point did they tell me that they hadn't done some of the works. I have been trying to call for 2 days as car still. Making noise and shaking , now I get through and am being told that they did not fit the wheel bearing on one side as they had fit the extra arm . Never once did they tell me this when I went to collect the car. When I asked [ ] to show me what had been done the got annoyed and dumped everything in the boot of my car. Terrible Terrible people. No humanity at all..
