I took my car in to Iverson in Chiswick and got it back 2 weeks later! It sat on their ramp for two weeks and didn’t have hardly any work done to it while they prioritised other Customers cars !!! So if you don’t want your car for two weeks or want free Parking while you go away this is the place to go to and when you tell the manager that they didn’t put on parts that you left for them to put on his response was ‘don’t give him attitude and to take your car and don’t come back ‘ to the garage. I hope the owners are very happy with the manager they have employed who represents their company and chases away customers! Service gone down hill since previous manager was moved .

Waited in all morning after organising the day before for someone to come and change a totally trashed tyre. called at 1pm to be told they had no van available that day and nobody was coming. Shambles.

Bad old days of garages. Feel grateful if reception speak to you and wait until someone wanders over from having a chat and ciggie (no other customers there) and eventually change your tyre.

I have used Iversons for many years, first for tyres then for MOTs and batteries. They are generally competitive and always efficient and friendly. What really sets them apart, though, is if there's a difficult problem. Eg my Seat Toledo failed its diesel emissions MOT test 2 years in a row and they asked if it had been serviced and were puzzled when I showed them the expensive main dealer service receipts. They were excellent at doing whatever to get it through, eg new air filters. When I stopped trekking to a Seat dealer and used Iversons instead the bills got cheaper and it passed MOTs first time. The last 3 winters our diesel Peugeot caused us endless cold starting problems and we were considering getting rid of it. The Peugeot repair place had it for several weeks altogether and never found the cause. Then a cheap battery tester gadget claimed the battery was being overcharged. The Peugeot place wanted £109 for "a full diagnostic check", ie plug in a computer for a minute! So I took it to Iversons. They were brilliant - had it for 4 days and did starter and battery tests sporadically. It was clear the alternator was fine but something was slowly draining the battery (still a mystery, with all that wiring, but only a slight drain). The main culprit seemed to be the starter motor. They fitted a new one and that is apparently drawing a lot less power. I was pleasantly surprised by the bill and very impressed by their thoroughness.

Always helpful, polite and responsive even though sometimes one might have to wait a bit.
