Maverick Motorcycles

Bought a HD from these guys in 2017. Bike was sold as seen and they personally import them from the U.S. Fair enough I thought. They did NOTHING to mine prior to delivery, in spite of claiming that they do a "full service". I had the bike delivered as I live far from London so going back to complain was not an option. The first thing I did, which any self respecting biker would, is check her over. Oil was thick, gloopy and black (never seen "new" oil like that no matter what brand or grade!) and the air filter had a hole blown/corroded into the gauze. Bike was worth the money but buyer beware; DON'T BELIEVE ALL YOU'RE TOLD!

Very poor customer service, the mechanic should stay off the phone as he's very blunt and gives you the feeling he couldn't care less. The condition of the motorcycles aren't that great but as we were told in the shop he buys them and doesn't do a thing to them and that includes cleaning them, his words were, what you see is what you get. If customer service is what you're looking for , maverick motorcycles is not for you.

2nd time I've taken my 2010 Deauville for service. Chis is helpful and has done a good job on my bike at a very good price. I had a tyre delivered and fitted. No hassle. only work that was needed to be done was done.
Very happy.

I phoned up for a quote on my bike repair, they were very to the point, answered my questions, were friendly. They took my details and even offered to bring my bike in for me. Their service rate is competitive and they are happy to fit parts for my bike which I have purchased elsewhere. One negative point is that they were unsure of prices for the things I needed, but I think if I had done my research and knew I would have a clearer picture on price. We'll see how the service rates when I bring it in.

If you are looking for customer service/raport, shop elsewhere - I called Maverick Motorcycles when I was interested in an 11 year old bike they had advertised. After asking a few basic questions regarding condition I politely asked if the price was negotiable as there was a newer model up the road that was comparative in price and condition. Rather than replying politely I was abruptly told to go and buy that bike if that is what I wanted.
