I would 100% NOT recommend CIty Motorcycle even to my worst enemy, I bought a tyre for £80 from them and I got puncture on the way home, when I went back to the shop, they wanted to charge me £35 just to repair it. I went to a different Motorcycle service and repair shop on Granville Road and they repair the puncture for £15 . DO NOT GO TO CITY SCOOTERS UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN...

I read the reviews and I wasn't sure whether to go visit them or not, guys if you have your own issues or a bad day don't put it on these guys... Very friendly, speedy reasonable priced service.. for sure now I know this is the garage for me.. great job guys 20 of 10.keep the good work.thx

I took my motorbike to just take the rims off for refurbishment and re-paint. The owner quoted £100 and then on the day I arrived with the bike the mechanic said it was £180. Once I brought back the refurbished rims to fit them back on they scratched the rear rim. Got £50 compensation (refurbing the rear rim cost £110). They then also didn't check whether the rear wheel was freely moving before they returned the bike with the consequence of finding that the rear dust cap was hitting the rear break as the wheel spinned busting the tyre valve. Next morning I found the rear flat and (because it was Saturday) they wouldn't come and pick up the bike. They fitted the wrong tyre valve and got £10 compensation for the dust cap and trouble. Very poor service, unsafe release of a motorbike back on to the road and no admission of fault at any time even though they agreed to pay something back.

They guys are fab, the new mechanic is even better..just wanted to say thank you for servicing my scooter and even giving it a clean to bring it back to this look and condition...just like new.. That's how all services should be..So grateful

Stay away from this garage, they try to increase my bill, one of the things , the owner of this place told me he put 4 liters of oil in my vespa gts 125, when this motorbike use just 1 litre of oil, then he told me they change the filter and was not true, just dont go to this place if you dont want to have legal problems with them.

I bought a used Vespa PX from City Scooters more than 3 year ago and when I took it for its MOT to another garage was told the bike had been declared a write off.Nothing was declared by City Scooters at sale (my mistake not to check or their dishonesty?). The bike failed. Do not buy anything from these people.

I have been taking my scooter to City Scooter for 6 years, in this time they have always been very helpful, well priced and in a number of circumstances they have done adjustments for me without charging. I have had 2 accidents in this time and they did an excellent job repairing my scooter for a reasonable price.
I have had to have tyres, accelerators and clutch cables repaired by other scooter shops as I had broken down and they were nearby so I have had the opportunity to compare and the prices were astronomical, the parts and labour far more expensive than city scooter and the service was no better.
They are very honest and personable and I will continue to recommend them to friends.

I bought a second hand scooter from City Scooters more than a year ago and when I took it in for its first MOT to another garage they told me it had been declared a write off and was missing some key componants like a fuel pump. Big fail. Do not buy a bike from these guys.

the low in uk we can not sell bike write off . i think the customer dont have the idea what the difrent between cat d or c and write off . also now any bike you can cheek if register have small accident free on auto trader and different website .

I bought a scooter here earlier this year. The guy didn't tell me the kickstart didn't work. When I wanted to try the kickstart he told me it was not necessary because he had just fitted a new battery and therefore I could use the electric start. Quite simply dihonest. Stay away.

I bought a vespa from these guys second hand, and when it all wnet wrong they wanted to charge me the earth, nearly as much to fix it as the bike cost. I understood that i had no warranty at all with a second hand model but they said they would look after me if it went and as far as i am concerned i have been left by the side of the road, literally, thanks guys!!

Though I have nothing to compare them to, their prices seem fair, and they’ve always done a good job, and the guys seem pretty honest.
I’ve had tyres, an exhaust, brakes, indicators all replaces or repaired and never had any problems. They also have a good range of safety equipment, and have quite a few bikes for sale.
