They couldn't fix my phone, they tell me the price to fix it and it was more 500 punds, obviusly I couldn't pay that money. When I went to take my phone I had to pay 29 punds only for diagnostic but they didn't tell me it before, they told me the basic repair was 29 pounds, so, after one week my phone is broke still but I paid 29 pounds.

STAY AWAY!

It is actually difficult to put into words how frustrating and stressful my experience with the Apple Repair Shop on Kingsland Road actually was. I strongly, STRONGLY, urge anyone who needs their Apple device repaired to stay away (I recommend Newton’s Apple Repair on Brick Lane).

I had an issue with the screen on my MacBook Pro, where the display started malfunctioning, so I took it in and asked them for a quote. They quoted me £480 to replace the screen, and promised me a ‘same day’ service. The quote from Apple themselves was 595 + labour, plus they said it would probably take at least a week.

So I dropped the laptop off at the Apple Repair Shop after just after lunch on Friday - they said they would call me if there were any issues at all, and it would be ready by the end of the day. I went back around 5pm and was told that it would take until Monday (no-one bothered to call). I was on holiday on Monday (no-one called) so I called up on Tuesday morning and was told they didn’t have the part so couldn’t do it. When I collected the Mac they told me they would have the new screens in on Friday.

When I got home, I realised the Touch Bar above the keyboard was no longer working. Given I would be seeing them again in a few days (and assuming it was a simple issue) I decided to mention it to them then instead. However, the following Monday when I called up to ask if I could bring it in, I was told that the screens are no longer available.

The next day I took the laptop to Newton’s Apple Repair on Brick Lane (polite, knowledgeable). I mentioned the Touch Bar issue, but he said I should get that sorted out first in case it’s a more serious issue. So I called up the Apple Repair Shop and explained the issue. The woman’s (Leda) only concern was denying it was their fault. She didn’t listen to a thing I said, repeatedly trying to suggest it must have been the other shop who broke it, even though it wasn’t working for a week before I took it there and they didn't even open it. Then she accused me of breaking it, and that it couldn’t have been them as they only touched the screen (which I later found out was untrue). Eventually, after much cajoling, she told me to bring it in for the tech person to have a look at it.

When I called up the next day (again, no-one bothered to call me) I spoke with the tech guy who admitted responsibility - he wasn't sure how but said 'these things happen'.

When I called up again to ask about progress, she kept talking about how they were reviewing the CCTV because the broken Touch Bar couldn’t have been them, despite the fact that they’d already accepted responsibility. She asked me if I’d backed up my data (stupidly I hadn’t as it seemed like a simple hardware fault). I said no, can I come and back it up before they take it apart. She said it was too late, the Touch Bar had fried the motherboard and I’d lost everything.

She also asked me if I still wanted the screen. I said I’d already found another shop who could do it for 430. She said they could do it for 430 so I said yes (I didn't bother asking how the screen suddenly became available again), as it occurred to me that this might be an incentive for them to do a proper job.

The following Tuesday she called me (hallelujah) to tell me the laptop was ready and the Touch Bar and screen had been fitted and would cost 450. I told he we agreed 430 and she gave me some nonsense about it being a superior screen or something. I just paid up and left to cut my losses.

In summary: I lost my work laptop for 2 weeks, had all of my data erased, never received a single apology, was never once called back when promised, was accused of doing the damage myself, spoken to rudely repeatedly on the phone and in the shop, and finally overcharged for the replacement on a pre-agreed price. I could honestly deal with all of the (many) technical problems if their attitude had not been so rude, lazy, deceitful and disrespectful to the customer.

Do NOT surrender your Apple products to these people.

Do not get your iPhone fixed at the Apple station on Kingsland road!!!!!
DO NOT get to your phone fixed there!!!! They are incapable!!!
I went there to get my screen fixed (the bottom part of it has been broken) when I went to pick it up they informed me that the Face ID on my device got damaged, which locket me out of most of my apps .l, and still are.
They promised they would fix it but obviously lied. Maid me come back and forth 3 times leaving my phone to them. The second time I’ve left my phone there I got informed by people that my phone was available all day, I’ve got calls coming in that didn’t go directly to voice mail meaning my phone was on all day, not shut down and worked on. The last time I brought it in I’ve change my passcode to see If they would contact me, they didn’t. Claiming they have worked all day on my device and couldn’t resolve the problem ?? my phone was obviously not touched, they didn’t even turn it off since access would have locked them out.
It ended with the rude technician shouting me out the shop saying he shouldn’t have tried to help me- Even though he was doing his job and trying to fix a problem HE HAS CREATED!!!
Do yourself a favor- AVOID!!!
I’m now trying to get it fixed with Apple and this will cost me between £300-600 if not it the amount of actually replacing the phone ?
Do yourself a favor, if your phone doesn’t work, go fix it somewhere trustworthy!
My journey with this shop is far from over, But if you can, just avoid dealing with them if you can!

So pleased with Apple Repair Station. Alexandra was excellent in responding quickly to my original request for a quote to fix my broken trackpad, it was fixed really quickly and at a much lower cost than the extortionate amount Apple had quoted. So pleased - thanks to the team especially Alexandra for sorting out my problem so efficiently. This is the only place I would get my MacBook pro fixed. Highly recommend to everyone!

Had a cracked MacBook Air screen on a model that Apple no longer makes spare parts for. They found a screen for me, lent me a replacement while getting mine fixed, and were both quick and friendly. Definitely recommend.

I managed to crack my MacBook Pro's screen on the flight over from New York and this put me in a bind for a week of meetings while in London...however, I was very lucky to find the Apple Repair Station and they quickly jumped into action and had my computer fixed in barely over the time it took to have a coffee. It helped that they had the spare parts in stock, but you could also see they prioritized customer service and went out of their way to deliver great service. Cost-wise, they were also very honest and charged a reasonable price. 10 out of 10 for my review!

Second time I have used Apple Repair Station and I'm very pleased. I have a brand new retina MacBook Pro (only a few months old) and spilt water on the keyboard. I took it to them on Friday lunch and picked it up Saturday morning fully repaired with a new genuine Apple Uppercase. They also inspected the main control board to see if any water would cause it any problems but thankfully on inspection it was just the keyboard. Writing this review on my repaired Mac :)

Fantastic customer service from Stanley. I would highly recommend Apple Repair Station for any Apple repairs, upgrades etc.
I travel all the way from Croydon for the service can't find anywhere as good.

Had emergency laptop issues with an out-of-town colleague. We were able to send it to ARS by courier, and picked it up the next day, fixed. Very friendly and helpful. Slight mixup about needing passwords but that was easily resolved. Will definitely go straight to them for any further issues.

Amazing service and a fraction of the cost quoted at the Apple store.

I paid £230 with these guys for liquid damage repair and a replacement I/O board ...

I'd been quoted £600-1000 at the apple store ... so needless to say I was delighted with the result. 2 day turn around on my repair .. all done quickly, professionally and with sympathy and understanding.

These guys are super friendly, sympathetic, knowledgable and I would highly recommend the service to anyone... get in touch with them before you pay hundreds more at the Apple Store !!

Recently had some work done on my MacBook Pro, including screen replacement.
The work by the technicians seems to be of a good standard, unfortunately the service and attitude of the shop staff lets the side down greatly.
Rude - Arrogant - Dismissive - Argumentative

Because of this, even though the work by the technicians seems to be good quality, I will not be returning any of my devices to the store again.
As a paying customer I do not expect to be spoken to as though I'm simply an inconvenience to someone's tea break!
Fire the rude staff and you have a great business!

I had no option but to try a repair service, having never used one before. I came on online and saw great reviews for the Apple Repair Station and reluctantly decided to call them. I was concerned about the time it would take, the cost and also how they would be with me. Tech guys are often a bit disconnected. Don't hesitate. Stanley was so kind and efficient. Nothing was a problem and the broken hard drive and power socket were fixed really quickly. The price was great. There is no question that they are the only place I will ever take my mac. I am really impressed and grateful.

I arrived at Apple Repair Station on Kingsland road in bit of a panic. i had spent almost an hour on the phone to apple support and they were unable to help me revive my Macbook Pro. Apple repair Station had my Macbook Pro back up and running in minutes. Friendly and expert service. i cannot recommend them highly enough.

Incredible Service!! My Macbook stopped charging on the thursday - after it failed to charge using a different charger, I took it in to the store on the Friday. They identified the problem and replaced the faulty part in just 20 minutes as I waited!!
Lovely staff who know what they're doing and very reasonable prices - will definitely bring all my Apple products here from now on.

Smashed my iPhone screen way back in December, and as I use it every day for work, I needed someone reliable who could fix it same day. Waited 3 months before I spotted Apple Repair Station on the bus one day. Popped in at 9am and they did it for me that morning! A+ service, and had a great chat while I waited too. £79 all in, with 90 days warrantee. Will be returning with my slow Macbook soon.

I had been putting off sorting my laptop because i thought it would cost the earth. I've been trying to get a genius bar appointment for weeks too. I cycled down the road to The Apple Repair Station and they fixed it in 15 minutes. And cleaned my computer. And it was super cheap. Very helpful and friendly service. I will never think of going anywhere else now.

I was looking into upgrading my ageing iMac and contacted Apple Repair station to enquire about options and prices. The recommendations they made were excellent and the service I received was great. They answered all my questions patiently and I ended up with a perfect solution for my iMac, which is now super fast again and feels like a new computer. They were super helpful throughout and even helped me carry my computer to the taxi. I am very pleased with both service and quality of the upgrade. Would highly recommend.

When I brought my Mac to Apple Repair Station the receptionist started laughing straight away at the state of my Mac and the charger.While submitting my info he was making comments about it in front of other customers in a very unprofessional manner which made me very uncomfortable.I realize that my laptop wasn't looking great but that's the reason I brought it to the repairs. When I asked him to stop making those comments he simply put all my stuff in bags and said that I should probably ask for help somewhere else.I have never experienced such service before.Very rude and unprofessional

I contacted them immediately and they helped me instantly; extremely helpful and customer-friendly; as a regular client they didn't charge me much plus got three sweeties when I left; oh and nearly forgot they dropped my laptop at my doorstep as well; I recommend them to all my friends, literally!

After trying to repair my internal HD with Disk Utility my Mac started shutting down before booting up. Went to this place and was convinced by the staff that there is next to no hope for data recovery and after paying 150+quid I MIGHT be able to recover some of it. Went home, bought a new hardrive and an enclosure for the old one, replaced them, installed new OS (they would've charget 100quid for that) and after an hour of googling was able to recover everything really easily.
