I was really taken aback by the unnecessarily negative reviews. Understanding that the world is not perfect, helps!

Anyway, I bought a laptop at Pc World High Street Kensington. Great service, very helpful, no complaints.

The PC World website were showing a UK/Europe satnav priced at £50 but they didn't have any in stock. I wonder whether any branch actually stocked this product or whether the internet ad was designed to get us in through the door. It succeeded with me because I really wanted a satnav last week. The guy who served me clearly knew nothing at all about satnavs, sold me a cover I didn't need because the chosen model (over £120) came with one, and stopped to serve another customer whilst he was supposed to be serving me. I'm going back this evening to get a refund for the unnecessary cover and not looking forward to it.

They have just left a message threatening to charge me for being late in picking up my laptop which I had left for repair under service contract and then also to recycle it now on Saturday if I did not pick it up. That gives me one week all in all to pick it up before they will destroy it. Nice one! Incredibly bad service and unfriendly staff in the Kensington shop at the Techguys counter. Improvement needed! I have bought two laptops there and have two service contracts. Give me one reason to give them more business. Incredibly disappointing.

Unfortunately, I had one of the worst customer experiences of my life at PC World. The personnel was very pushy on selling me thing I did not need, and a service agreement that curtailed my customers'rights.

The hardware of the printer I bought was faulty, but when I brought it back after 24 hours the "tech guys" argued I might have sabotaged it.

Please some more respect for your clients.

To whom it may concern!

After calling your phone number, I was put on hold, I was a buyer for a new computer and printer, however after being put on hold, for five minutes, I hung up and went to peter Jones and spent 1559 pounds on a computer and printer. How dare you put your buyer into a queue. Get a real person to answer your phone after you've determined they're buyers!!

You must think you're saving money with a phone answering system, you have lost the personal touch and it cost you.

If it happened once with me, it is happening everyday!
