Capital Beds

Went in to buy a bed yesterday (It was a Sunday) and had great service from the guy running the shop. Had some great banter with him and nothing was too much trouble for him. Wanted to take it there and then and he promptly offered free delivery the following day. As I live less than 100m away, I declined but said I would happily carry it home. He showed me the boxes, made sure I was happy with the weight, have some tips on building it and where to find all the parts (they were hidden in the headboard) Went out, had a built bed 3 hours later.. I Was very pleased with the service provided, the bed was delivered for free on the next day which made things so easy. I am very happy with the quality of the product and will definately come back again.

Recently bought an excellent Silentnight Gianna mattress from this retailer. The service was excellent plus the Delivery was on time. Highly recommended and lovely friendly service.

I purchased a Tetras single bed from Capital beds, and I have to say the service, price and delivery time frames were outstanding. Having just moved into the area, my son needed a replacement bed urgently. The shop had it in stock, I picked-out a mattress and it was all delivered Free the next day.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

The company took three weeks to ship the product and it arrived one box short. It then left us to pursue the missing package with its incompetent courier and when we received it a week later the part concerned was defective and unsafe. We told the company at once and E-mailed information about the problem, and we then found that it had left in charge someone incompetent and extremely rude to "look after things" whilst the owner was on holiday. After this the owner told us every day that he would tell us tomorrow what was happening, kept promising to phone us back and never did, and failed to show the slightest concern that our child was sleeping on the sofa while he and his suppliers messed us around. After a further week of jam tomorrow, we gave up and told him to take the whole thing away.

Service, quality and attitude all nought out of ten. Avoid.
