Lordship Lane Carpets

Lordship Lane Carpets' business model is just appalling. Twice I have tried to pass business in their direction. The customer service was extremely poor in the shop and promises to call us back never materialised. What a pity. I'm sure someone else will appreciate the £3000 I was trying to spend.

I completely disagree with the above comment, have used Lordship Lane Carpets a number of times and have spent ages in there discussing the various pros and cons of of colours and styles. Their staff have never been pushy and always come across as extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They have laid one rubber floor, a stair runner and 3 bedroom carpets for us, I have also had a rug made up by them. All of the work was completed professionally and to exacting standards. Their range of products is huge and no, they are not the cheapest, but we found them reasonable . They are very good at what they do and we were very happy with the quality and standard of service. We have recommended them to lots of friends and neighbours when they have needed flooring and have heard more good reports.

Awful! Overpriced and hard sell certainly - be very careful when you go in because you will get also sorts of chat about availability of carpets - this is to force you to choose something that is being incentivised at the time. They are inflexible about coming out to quote (i had to wait over 2 weeks). An appointment to fit a floor was cancelled without telling me/ or calling because apparantly I had not confimred it or soemthing. I then had to wait 3 more weeks for a slot The owner is also unbelievably rude. I am amazed they are still in business really.
