I was lured into this fabric store by their fabric displays in their windows. It was in every way as amazing as the window displays suggested. They have a broad range of fabric types. The real gold mine is in their lower level. Lace, embroidered, beaded, sequined, you name it, they have marvelous glitz, as well as a wide range of 'unembellished' silks. On the other hand, there's the price one pays for amazing fabrics: they are not by any means inexpensive. In fact, they are more on the expensive end. But that didn't stop me from spending a lot there anyway, for fabric one won't find elsewhere for that "special occasion"!

I live in London and had never heard of this shop.
After scouting around shepherds bush and edgeware road for days and not finding what I want for my sons wedding, my aunty in Canada recommended "Rainbow"...
This place really does have global clients lol.
I was looking for a unique Dirac and gabasaar fransawi and it fair to say this shop has the best selection of fabrics suitable for Somali attire I have seen.
I usually travel to Dubai to get my fabrics, however given the lock downs and quarantine I did not have this option. What a blessing in disguise as I have found a hidden gem!

I was recommended this shop by a friend - I am very glad I have found this little gem. From everyday casual suiting to elaborate, exclusive fabrics they have it all under one roof. What I love about this shop is, how well they put fabrics together and create outfits to suit individual tastes. The service was great and their ideas are refreshing. Would definitely recommend this to people looking for something different. Will be making a trip back soon!

massa'Allah!! I came here for my wedding dress and head scarf!They have beautiful somali clothes and ideas to play with!The boy is very very helpful and pulls out best of new varieties for me with always smile on face!! I would certainly recommend this shop for their service !! The only thing,I did not like is disallowed permission of picture!I came from all the way from woolwich to southall and I am happy with!!

If you are looking for elaborate fabrics this is just the place. They don't carry vast quantities of the same design which is a good thing, the owner has often helped us to put ideas,designs and fabrics together. Would recommend you visit them

I absolutey LOVE this place.. The fabrics are just beautiful and unique. I searched 2 weeks long in India for perfect fabrics/outfit for some parties i had upcomming and came to Rainbow when i couldn't find what i was looking for. The service was lovely, i was asked what type of items i was looking for and was shown many options. After spending a good few hours here i took back 3 sets! I have recommended this place to all my friends and family and will definitely be coming back for my wedding shopping. You can create anything from modern to traditional here with so many fabrics options!

First of all staff are not welcoming at all, they don't smile or greet u. I have been wondering around for a long time and no one bothered to ask me if I need help. The owner or watever he is is just too uptight and is not welcoming at all. I took picture of my self to see if the material looked good on me and I have been told off like a little child. Am sorry to say this but I have seen nothing good in those people and I think they need to get more staff, other than that they have some good material and boy it's very expensive. Am never going by there.

I recently visited New Rainbow Textiles after always going for ready made outfits I decided to try something different. This shop is like an Aladdin's cave, three floors of amazing fabrics. The service was impressive, a lady guided me through the fabrics and helped me put together an amazing outfit. I am quite fussy but I was impressed with what she put together and her knowledge of the fabrics. Although their tailoring is individual to their company she assisted me to the tailors and saw through the finished product with me. I will definitely be going back, this is my new favorite store!

Service was not too bad. But didn't at any point make us aware of hidden costs and say things innvery tactful ways, hiding what any customer truly needs to know. customer service was very short with us and other friends who i now regret telling. Overall, u can get better service and the same material at a better price coming from someone who understands fashion. Big let down and disappointed with outcome of finished product which also needed to be returned twice due to mistakes made in tailoring - poor!

I was recommended this store by another store in Southall. The store certainly has some very nice material but I cant say the same for the service received. The sales assistant was very short.

I would just like to say that you can buy the best silk fabric from there and they will cut 1/4 1/2 and 1 meters for you and the silk is not dear and when i am down there from wales i always make a point of going in there its a lovley shop and they are very helpful.
