The Linen Chest

I never leave reviews but I just had to with The Linen Chest so that no one else gets scammed by this company and treated with threatening behaviour.

I paid a lot of money for some shutters in a bedroom and they have not been fitted properly. They clearly didn’t measure properly and I have screws sticking out and they also stuck white panels on both sides, that don’t even match the colour of the shutters and the panels let light in through them. When I questioned this with the owner/manager of the store, he came over to look at them and said ‘they look fine’ and ‘we have to agree to disagree’. When I said I wasn’t happy and that they shouldn’t have a side panel and screws hanging out, he raised his voice and became quite aggressive. I was at home with my two young babies so it made me rather upset. This resulted in him leaving and us having badly fitted shutters, which we paid a lot of money for.

We have beautiful shutters fitted in our living room by another company, so I know what they should look like and they cost the same amount. So you would truly be wasting your money going here.

They gave me the wrong blinds from somebody else's order and when I phoned them to ask about it they said it will take another 2 weeks for my blinds to arrive!

Never going to go to them ever again. I don't recommend going there at all. More hassle than it's worth.
