Currys booked me a repair today. Been trying to call for hours. Ive had no contact from A.N.D amd currys have no clue what's going on. I paid upfront. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE

I was referred to AND domestic by BEKO as the nearest repair centre in June 2023 to attend both my fridge freezer and Additionally Freezer. It was duly booked for the 7/6/23
On the day the engineer attended and declared the fridge verbally as unrepairable , However the freezer needed a part and he would sort it out. Its now November and still no word as to the part accusing BEKO not responding to their request. So £200 later nothing has changed. I have received NO communication whatsoever.
I guess AND do not want to bother.
I will enlighten BEKO of there choice repair agents.

I was recommended A.N.D domestics by Beko customer service as my fridge freezer had broken down and was outside it’s guarantee period. I called them for a repair and was charged £105.00 for the engineer to call. The engineer arrived, listened to the fridge freezer for 2 minutes, then told me that the condenser had failed and the cost to repair would be higher than a new appliance. He said if I purchase a new machine from them they would discount the price by £30.00 and left. I phoned the company to enquire about my £105.00 and was told it was non refundable so I asked about supplying a replacement and was told they don’t deal with beko appliances but they could supply me a hotpoint replacement at a cost of £1350.00. I explained that an equivalent Beko fridge freezer to the one I have was online from a well known high street retailer for £695.00. They again said they don’t supply Beko appliances and if I don’t purchase through them then none of the £105.00 is refundable. I feel completely ripped off by.this company and would advise caution to anyone thinking of using them.

Absolutely disgusting company AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!
After being sent to this company from manufacturing company of my washing machine. I was originally booked an appointment for an engineer to check my washing machine this appointment was cancelled and i was told to call to find out why. I did apparently without checking they knew what was wrong with my washing machine, ordered the part and was waiting and when the parts ready they would book another appointment.
This happened after a week. I again had to call to book an appointment. When the part was in. I did this. A date and time this is all.

The day comes for the appointment for my washing machine to be fixed. I get a text saying theyll be there between 9:15-12:15 great i took the day off work so thought this was perfect. I got a call from a number i did not know at 11:50 stating the engineer was outside my property and needed a permit. (Voicemail) and to call back the engineer will wait only 10 minutes.i went to check outside there was no engineer outside my property.
I called back immediately knowing who it was to explain no engineer was here.
I was on hold the whole time. While still on hold at 12pm i had a call from the number stating the engineer has moved on?
I questioned this as there was noone outside my property and i had a car park so no permit needed.
I was confronted with aggyness and rudensss. I explained it definitely was not my property.
They recalled the address which was clearly incorrect and stated ‘oh well we cant come back now as we are not insured to work on a property that is incorrect’
I questioned this again and they said well your manufacturer company didn’t give me the correct address, i said but i booked this appointment with your company so why was my address not confirmed before booking the appointment to confirm the engineer was going to the correct address.
Again i was confront with complete rudeness stating well call your manufacturer and tell them not to use us if you do not like our company we dont want you anyways. I said what? I said corr your soo rude!
She was like no your sooo rude i said what your company booked me an appointment, cancelled it as the engineer knew what it was without checking and ordered a part not knowing if this part was correct or not? And then was coming back? Whose to say the part was correct and this appointment was going ahead anyways?
She said ‘what you mean my engineer (while shouting) is 35 years in the business his experienced he doesn’t need to look at the washing machine if its a common fault’ i said but its my washing machine how do you know without checking it? She was like oh what ever your so rude get a different company said bye and hung up! How rude!!!!

I triggered a repair of my Tumble dryer on the 3rd of February. £90 call out fee and after an Engineer cancellation, the young engineer arrived, took one look ( did not touch the appliance) and announced that it needed a new condenser pump. They quoted me £86 and said they’d order the part.
EIGHT weeks later, no news. Meanwhile, I was warned and advised by a neighbour to get a second opinion, as she had a bad experience with this company. The independent engineer came and checked the machine. He said that all that was needed was a simple sump clean. He serviced it for half the call out fee that A.N.D charged and it works perfectly. A.N.D are being difficult regarding e refund. Taking it to trading standards and writing reviews everywhere. AVOID these scammers. BELIEVE the terrible reviews. They are there for a reason!

The phone operator at A.N.D told me that an engineer would look at the hob in my rental and call me if any parts were needed to repair, or it needed replacing, of which they could do both. They charged over £100 before the visit. The engineer that visited looked at the hob for 2 minutes, without touching it and said it would need replacing, I have not heard anything from them since. They have not replied to emails or calls, so we paid over £100 for nothing.

I have tried for 1 hour 14 minutes and 38 seconds to call them as they can not do a service call which I booked a week before. Still not got through so called domestic and general as my warranty is with them to sort out.
Worst service I ever had with a company sent via my warranty policy and they are not even in the house yet.

The worst customer service I've ever seen. Cancelled my appointment for preordering the parts for my washer dryer, even though noone has been to assess what's wrong with it. Been trying to call them to see when they're coming or what's the status of that, been out on hold for 2 hours each time with no answer at all. Horrible, horrible, horrible, avoid as much as you can.

I thought I would use a local company, but big mistake. Just read the reviews and sadly I have received the same poor customer service and no parts received for over 6 weeks. I knew exactly what I required and was informed it will arrive in 2 days. I chase weekly to no avail. Still waiting and they won’t refund.

Don't use this company. Very poor customer service. They take forever to answer the phone, never reply to your email and the MD won't call you when you have a serious complaint. Engineers arrive later than given time but the lady at the office blames the customer. Please use another company and stay away from these people. They carry out warranty repairs on behalf of Currys but I've informed Currys of their poor service.

Very poor Service.
I bought a Kenwood Washing machine from Currys. It stopped working. Currys appointed AND Domestics to repair. Their engineer was incompetent and complained about parking and many other reasons. There are three off street parking outside.

I ordered a replacement part which took over 2 months to arrive. Eventually on instillation date it turned our to be the wrong part (not sure why this was not checked when the part arrived with them)

I have since waited over 2 more weeks without any update and can never get through to anyone with instant information. It also takes forever 'to be looked up on the system' each time I call to chase up the missing part'

In terms of engineers, one guy was not very helpful, the other fantastic.

If a straightforward Hotpoint repair - probably fine. For anything else I would not recommen

AND spent 2 hrs traying to fit a new washer/dryer with no success, in the end they gave up stating the machine must be faulty, I still paid them for their time. The manufacturer then came round at further cost to me and took them 2 seconds to realise it just needed a valve turned on. When I tried to tell AND they were incredibly rude and put the phone down on me. I left several messages for the manager and he never called back. In the end I had to go down there and after an hour of them still saying it a was faulty machine I finally got a refund - AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Having successfully used the comppany for a cooker repair, yesterday afternoon I made arrangements for a washing machine repair The engineer,arrived first thing this morning.He worked efficiently, had a replacement part with him and had the machine working in approx 30 mins. He was pleasant, polite,and gave advice on preventing the problem re occuring.I was charged a fair price for the work.
For many years I took out insurance with a large company who provided the most dreadful service.
I will certainly use AND again.

I would like to say what a truly proffessional comapany a.n.d are. I have been using them for many years and find both their engineers and shop staff very courteous,polite and always willing to go the extra mile to help. I have bought all my appliances from this company and would recommend them.

I would like to recommend this company as they employ highly skilled engineers with a vast knowledge of repairing domestic appliances. the staff on site are always very polite,courteous and will go to any length to help wherever possible.

It's hard to be constructive after receiving such poor service!

I contacted A.N.D asking what their charges were and after agreeing a price to repair my microwave, I instructed them to come and collect it. The following day a very rude man named Kevin come and tore the microwave out of it's housing to take back to his workshop.

After 2 weeks of chasing and having paid the labour charge up front, I was still left with a hole in my kitchen. They said a part was on order, they didn't consult me as to the cost, and they processed a second payment without my authorisation or consent. They have my unpaired microwave, which I'm told wont be delivered back to me but can be collected, they have refused to refund my card and i have no means to be able to collect my broken appliance. I'm suffering with a terrible illness which prevents me from going out of the house, plus i'm not nearly £200 out of pocket.

I do not think Kevin has any manners or integrity. He has committed a crime and i don't know how to deal with this now. The police will not get involved because it's a civil matter. My debit card is not covered for a charge back, so i suppose i'm the one that has to bear the brunt of a seriously dishonest business!

We are known for our great reputation and we pride ourselves on our customer service. We have no record of this compalint on our computerised system. I have also asked all the staff and no-one can recollect anything of the above. I,as propietor deal with any compalint personally and make sure it is always resolved to the customers satisfaction. Let me first explain how our repair service works. Lets address your particular problem, ie. integrated appliances. There is a £30 non-refundable fee for the removal of an integrated microwave. Of course, if the customer brings the appliance into the shop themselves there would be no fee, just the charge for repair. The upfront fee you refer to is not a labour fee but a pick up fee, which you would have been advised of beforehand. With respect to payment we do not keep customer card details and therefore would not be able to process a second payment. We also have no details of a requested refund. I am the person you refer to in the review, and assure you that I am never rude or abrupt to a customer and would certainly not refuse delivery to someone who is ill. Please therefore, ring our office and ask for me, Kevin Holley so that I can resolve your problem and help in some way.

I use this company all the time now. They are really friendly and helpful. I phoned on a Tuesday and they were out the next morning. The engineer who came out to fix my washing machine was really honest and solved the problem really quickly and cheaply. I couldnt believe how professional he was, (I say this as I have had some bad experiences in the past with companies like this) I dont normally bother giving feedback - but there are so many cowboys out there I just had to put this on and say how impressed I was with A.N.D. I have also bought a new fridge and freezer through A.N.D who beat the internet prices, took my old appliances away for free and installed the new ones. Impressive!
