All In London Review
L'eau A La Bouche
Broadway Market has the food market on Saturdays but for those who like to indulge their gourmet cravings daily, La Bouche is there for them every day of the week. Selling an array of high-quality cheeses, breads and meats to take away with you, the bustling venue also houses a café.
Weekends are almost off-limits due to the market making sure that numbers swell but getting a seat on weekdays can be just as difficult. Frequented by locals, it is a cliché of sorts. MacBooks sit in front of every other person and the staff swing between unfriendly and disinterested. However, the coffee, cakes, sandwiches and pastries are some of the best around. The Chelsea bun is a particular favourite - a mammoth hunk of sweet, fruity bread and if you do find room, sitting in with a croque monsieur and a flat white is a perfectly respectable way to spend an afternoon having knocked off early.
Sadly, La Bouche is not open in the evenings so you’ll just have to stop by, purchase a lump of Morbier and some olive focaccia and enjoy it in the comfort of your own home where it’s BYOB and open all hours.

Lipsmacking: London's top gourmet food shops
An easy to digest list of London's finest grub shops.
Broadway Market’s La Bouche doubles up as both café and deli. Stocking a great range of European cheeses, cured meats, bread and specialty groceries it is as much a gourmet food shop as it is a meeting place for the market’s foodies. Always smells great.
