Hackney Bureau opened in 2010 as a gallery and coffee shop. It has grown since then to include a full kitchen serving breakfast, lunch and dinner alongside a bar serving craft beers and selected wines. The chefs at the Bureau offer wholesome, hearty and healthy dishes throughout the day including a choice of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. All food is prepared fresh each day from a range of quality organic butchers and suppliers.

They’ve kept décor to a bare minimum, but the quality of the frequently changing menu and friendly service has made Hackney Bureau a local favourite. Sample dishes include fillet steak, confit duck leg with pork belly, and sea bass ceviche. Most main courses are priced just over a tenner.
