All In London Review
A polished cafe with super coffee and light snacks to match
A shiny La Marzocco dispenses Workshop Coffee from a dominant, heavy wood counter and along with the mechanically steamed and pressurized drinks there are also slow drip and cold brew options for those who like their caffeine on trend. Sitting down to a slice of sourdough smothered with avocado and chilli flakes at one of the tables amongst the cluster of seating at the back, it hits – Daily Goods is pretty great. From the friendly staff to the relaxed atmosphere, it’s a spot that lends both warmth and style to a slice of Camberwell that’s hardly synonymous with either - although it’s definitely getting there.
Open everyday – and from a handy 7:30am on weekdays – Daily Goods is likely to become this writer’s local daily coffee fix. On coffee, service and atmosphere it wins. On £4 takeaway sourdough loaves, it gets that one negative strike that every venue needs to keeps it grounded.
