Very friendly staff and not unpleasant seating area - even smallish - but that's the only good points We ordered two breakfasts - 1 veg and 1 baked beans on toast
For both of them the presentation was dreadful- 4 pieces of toast drowned in baked beans ( obviously some from the day before ) For the veggie breakfast the large mushroom was VERY TIRED - cold, dead dry - and the cheese sliced in advance - I didn't touch the cheese and the mushroom and left behind the 1/4 of a tomato - how mean it is ! Sweetcorn for breakfast - why not - but they were cold and I am not so sure when the tin has been opened .
When I complained, the staff was very apologetic but the cook, next to them, didn't blink an eye. Actually his look was telling us "What are you making a fuss about "
No fuss, we forked the £13 for 2 breakfasts and 2 coffees and left...
Will it be better next time ? We will tell you.
PS : What a shame to have such a nice staff and to spoil it with such poor food.
