The Coffee Bean Cafe

I started working in Shortlands a few weeks ago, and I am spoilt for choice for places to buy lunch from. My colleagues recommended I try the Coffee Bean, and I have to say their food is delicious, my favourite is their paninis. They are very welcoming too, all in all I would recommend.

Great location with many office based workers nearby.

Selection of breads, fillings and hot specials is impressive and quality is high

The biggest let down has to be the guys behind the counter who seem to feel it's a matter of Italian national pride to flirt with any and every woman who comes in. My female colleagues find it vaguely creepy and, as a man, I just want my sandwich!

My last toasted sarnie was left under the toaster until it was pretty much done to death all the while the guys behind the counter are making their little 'in' jokes in Italian to each other, clearly aimed at female customers.

Come on guys, some of us have little time and just want a good value, well made quality sandwich.

Cut the flirting and concentrate on business and maybe some of us could face coming in a little more often
